The 8th Shanghai"Get-Together"Writing Contest is organized by the Shanghai People's Association for Friendship with Foreign Countries,the Shanghai Municipal Administration of Culture and Tourism,and the Shanghai Library.This year,the event features an innovative"dual-track"format—Writing and Short Video—to both preserve the depth of the written word and embrace the era of short video.By showcasing Shanghai's openness and vitality through diverse perspectives,the contest seeks to inject new vitality into the international communication of Chinese culture through multifaceted creativity,ultimately boosting the city's cultural soft power and its capacity for global resource allocation.

拍摄上海科创、生态、城市更新等新貌，或记录个人与上海的跨文化互动场景（如参与民俗活动、职场协作等）；
Shoot Shanghai's new look in areas like sci-tech innovation,green living,and urban renewal;record personal stories of cross-cultural interactions(e.g.,traditional folk activities,workplace collaboration);
捕捉上海发展关键瞬间，或呈现扎根上海的奋斗故事等。

可由外籍人士与国人共同出镜或协作拍摄，例如：

作品要求
/Submission Requirements
本次活动分为征文作品和短视频作品征集2个部分，参加选手可以任意选择参加其中一项或者两项。
The event consists of two tracks:Writing and Short Video.Participants may choose to enter either one or both tracks.
征文作品
·Writing Submissions[!--empirenews.page--]
1.需为个人独立创作，紧扣活动主题，题目自拟，体裁不限；
1.Works must be original and independent creations,closely following the theme.Participants may choose their own titles,and there are no restrictions on the literary form;
2.语言为英语或中文，作品不少于500字/词；
2.Works may be submitted in either English or Chinese,with a minimum of 500 words/characters;
3.以WORD文档拟写保存，完稿后导出WORD、PDF格式各一份，文件命名格式为“国别-作者姓名-标题”。
3.Works should be written and saved as WORD documents.Upon completion,please export one copy each in WORD and PDF formats.Files should be named in the format:"Nationality-Author's Full Name-Work's Title."
短视频作品
·Short Video Submissions
1.时长建议3分钟以内，统一为MP4格式、1920*1080尺寸，横屏拍摄；
1.Recommended duration is within 3 minutes.Videos must be in MP4 format,1920*1080 resolution,and filmed in landscape orientation;
2.附100字左右（中文/英文）简介，阐述创作理念；
2.Provide a brief introduction of approximately 100 words/characters(Chinese or English)to explain your creative idea;
3.画面连贯、录音清晰无明显杂音，添加中英双语字幕，文件命名格式为“国别-作者姓名-标题”；
3.Ensure smooth visuals and clear audio without noticeable noise.Bilingual subtitles in Chinese and English must be added.Files should be named in the format:"Nationality-Author's Name-Work Title";
4.视频不得含与活动无关内容，包括但不限于水印、广告植入、二维码链接等。
