The Hongkong International Youth Film Festival is one of the important annual brand events hosted by the HKIYFFA.Based in Hongkong and Macao,backed by the Motherland and Facing the world,with the aim of‘empowering the Youth,Enlightening the Future’and the characteristics of‘Theme Exhibition,social Interaction,International Perspective,and Cross-border Integration’,it is committed to building an international and professional exchange and cooperation platform for young filmmakers worldwide.It supports young creators in their artistic exploration and career development,and promotes the innovative communication of global youth film and television culture.

Standing at new starting point on the new journey,taking on new tasks and missions,the theme of this film festival is"New Era,New Youth,New Mission and New Responsibility".In grasping the new stage of development,implementing the new concept of development,and constructing a new pattern of development,we must identified ourselves,and seize the opportunity to move forward,and actively integrate into the overall development of the national film industry.Taking the the integration and development of the Guangdong-Hongkong-Macao Greater Bay Area as an opportunity,we will Assist in the integrated development of Hongkong and mainland film industries,Make good use of the geographical advantages of the Hongkong and Macao Special Administrative Region,build an international film&TV cultural exchange platform,build a bridge for China's excellent film&TV culture to go global,enhance the influence of Chinese civilization dissemination,adhere to the position of Chinese culture,tell the stories of China and Hong Kong well,and spread the good voice of China.
历经八载深耕积淀，香港国际青年电影节系列活动已成功举办8届，活动趋品牌化、规模化、规范化，期望成为全球青年电影人参与的年度电影盛事，持续推动青年及华语电影事业高质量发展；电影节活动得到社会各界广泛关注支持，2021-2022连续两年获《中国电影报》整版深度报道；国家“十四五”规划首次将香港的文化地位写入，支持香港发展中外文化艺术交流中心，电影节活动的举办积极响应国家号召，主动成为支持香港发展中外文化艺术交流中心的一份子，为国家电影强国、文化强国建设贡献力量。

After 8 years of dedicated efforts，the HKIYFF series activities have been successfully held for 8 sessions.The activities have become increasingly branded,large-scaled,and standardized,hoping to become an annual film event for young filmmakers around the world,and continue to promote the high-quality development of the youth and Chinese film industry.The activity has received widespread attention and support from all sectors of society,and has received in-depth coverage from<China Film News>for two consecutive years from 2021 to 2022.The National"14th Five Year Plan"includes Hong Kong's cultural status for the first time,supporting the development of China and foreign cultural and artistic exchange center in Hong Kong.HKIYFFA actively responds to the national call and actively becomes a part of the support for the development of China and foreign cultural and artistic exchange center in Hong Kong,contributing to the construction of a national film and cultural power.

作品要求REQUIRMENTS：
长片Feature Film：时长≥70分钟，含剧情长片、纪实长片等；
首部长片First Feature Film：导演个人首部时长≥70分钟的影片；
纪录片Documentary Film：无时长限制，聚焦真实题材的纪实类影片；
儿童片Children Film：适合全年龄段儿童观看，传递正向价值观的影片，时长不限；
动画片Animation Film：以动画形式呈现的影片，时长不限；
AIGC影片AIGC Film：AI生成的创意短片、实验影像、MV、宣传片等，不限画风与剧情结构；
AI短剧AI Short Series:强剧情连续叙事作品，以仿真人、写实、3D等影视化风格为主
AI漫剧AI Man Drama:漫画/动态漫画/条漫剧形式，二次元画风，网文改编类优先；
网络电影Internet Film：为网络平台定制制作，时长≥60分钟的影片；
网络剧Internet Series：单集时长≥10分钟，总集数≥6集的网络播出剧集；
电视剧TV Series：符合电视播出标准，单集时长≥40分钟的剧集；
短片Short Film：时长1-30分钟的剧情、纪实、动画等类型短片；
微短剧Micro Drama：单集时长1-10分钟，总集数≥3集的短视频剧集；
学生短片Student Short Film：在校学生或毕业3年内创作者拍摄的时长≤30分钟的短片；
广告/宣传片Advertising Video：时长≤3分钟，用于商业推广或品牌宣传的影片；
新媒体短视频New Media Short Video：时长≤5分钟，适配新媒体平台传播的短视频；
公益影片Public Welfare Film：聚焦公益主题，传递社会正能量的影片，时长不限；
诗歌短视频Poetry Short Video：以诗歌为核心内容，融合画面与声音的短视频，时长不限。
（二）特别单元Special Unit
乡村振兴主题Rural Revitalization Theme：聚焦乡村发展、乡土文化的影片；
Z世代Generation Z：展现Z世代生活态度、价值观、创新实践的影片；
体育主题Sports Theme：围绕体育精神、赛事故事、运动人生的影片；
环境保护主题Environmental Protection Theme：关注生态保护、绿色发展、环保行动的影片；
科幻主题Science Fiction Theme：包含科幻设定、未来想象、科技探索的影片；[!--empirenews.page--]
女性电影人单元Female Filmmakers Unit：由女性主导（导演、编剧、制片人任一核心岗位为女性）的各类影片。
2.奖项设置Award setting
奖项设置包括影片奖项、个人奖项、团队奖项及专项奖项四类
Award setting includes Film Awards,Individual Awards，Team Awards and Special Awards
影片奖项Film Awards包括入围奖、优秀奖、最佳奖、特别奖。入围奖、优秀奖、最佳奖、特别奖（各征片类型及特别单元分别设奖）。
Film awards include official selection award,excellent award and best award
个人奖项Individual Awards包括导演、制片人、编剧、演员、摄影、剪辑、特效、美术、音乐、服装、化妆、灯光、道具及选角导演等。个人奖项：最佳导演、最佳制片人、最佳编剧、最佳男主角、最佳女主角、最佳男配角、最佳女配角、最佳摄影、最佳剪辑、最佳特效、最佳美术、最佳音乐、最佳服装、最佳化妆、最佳灯光、最佳道具、最佳选角导演、最佳新人演员、AIGC技术创新奖（各奖项都设置相应奖）。
Individual awards include director,producer,screenwriter,actor,photography,editing,special effects,art,music,clothing,make-up,lighting,props and casting director
团队奖项Team Awards包括优秀团队奖，最佳新团队、最佳团队奖等
Team awards include excellent team award,best new team award,best team award,etc.
专项奖项Special Awards：单位组织奖、学生作品指导教师奖、最佳乡村振兴主题影片、最佳Z世代影片、最佳体育主题影片、最佳环境保护主题影片、最佳科幻主题影片、最佳女性导演奖。

3.作品申报要求Qualifications
1）作品于2021年7月15日当日及以后，2026年7月15日当日及以前，五年期间内完成。
The works submitted shall be finished during on or after July 15th,2021 to July 15th,2026.
2)作品视频、剧照、海报、主创人员近照、其他详细资料及签字/盖章的申报表格等应按主办方要求提交，申报方同意并授权电影节组委会有权无偿使用申报方提交的所有素材、以及电影节活动过程中的图片、音视频素材和其他与电影节活动相关的素材用于对本电影节活动、和申报方及参会人员的宣传，而非其他商业用途。如需展映，需另行签署协议。
Videos,stills,posters,information of the filmmakers and submission forms with signatures or seals shall be submitted under the request of the organizer.The applicant agrees and authorizes the Organizing Committee of the festival to use the propaganda materials for free for the promotion of the festival and the film,not for other commercial purposes.In case of exhibition,the copyright owner shall sign a separate agreement with organizer.
3）作品申报方应拥有作品的全部版权或持有版权方授权许可证明，因申报方作品著作权(版权)、商标权及其他任何知识产权所产生的任何法律纠纷、经济损失或任何其他损失主办方免责，由此给主办方带来的经济和名誉等损失，申报方应依法全额赔偿；申报方应确保作品的投递符合其所在国家/地区的法律、法规要求，因申报方违反其所在国家/地区的法律、法规所产生的任何法律纠纷、经济损失以及其他任何损失，主办方免责，因此给主办方带来的经济和名誉等损失，申报方应依法全额赔偿。
The applicant of works shall own the whole copyright of it or get the permit license from the copyright holder.The organizer shall be exempted from liability for any legal disputes,economic losses or any other losses arising from the copyright(trademark rights)and any other intellectual property rights of the works from the applicant,and the applicant shall compensate the organizer in full according to law for the economic and reputation losses caused to the organizer;The applicant ensures that the submission of works shall meet the requirements of the laws and regulations of the Country/Region in which it is located.The Organizer shall be exempted from liability for any legal disputes,economic losses and any other losses arising from that the applicant violates the laws and regulations of the Country/Region in which it is located,and the applicant shall compensate the organizer in full according to law for the economic and reputation losses caused to the organizer.
